Meet the Team
Core to the health and growth of our business, Millennium's Information Technology organization builds flexible, scalable platforms and advanced proprietary systems that support the firm's active, multi-manager model. Within this environment, the Core Technology Development team builds and evolves shared business platforms that support critical internal processes, partnering across the firm to deliver scalable, well-integrated applications and end-user tools.
What You'll Do
- Participate in the architecture, design, and development of the compensation platform
- Partner closely with business analysts and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Build application components across the stack, including UI/UX, business services, and reporting solutions
- Contribute to a modern engineering environment built on .NET Core and Angular, with integration across shared platform components
- Collaborate with developers across the firm to deliver end-user tools that support key business processes
- Help shape scalable, maintainable solutions through thoughtful design, implementation, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Strong programming experience with solid understanding of object-oriented programming, C#, and .NET Core
- 3+ years of UI development experience using Angular, React, or a comparable JavaScript framework
- 5+ years of relational database development experience, including writing complex SQL and stored procedures
- Experience building and consuming RESTful services
- Development experience across both Windows and Linux environments
- Experience creating storyboards, user flows, and wireframes to communicate interaction and design ideas
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and take ownership of delivery
