Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be part of an Agile product team building cloud-native applications that support diagnostics, repair, service operations, customer experiences, and enterprise business processes.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, architects, and engineers while leveraging Extreme Programming (XP) practices, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and continuous delivery principles.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex business problems through modern software engineering and cloud technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Application Development

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support cloud-native applications.
  • Build frontend solutions using React.js.
  • Develop backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design and consume RESTful APIs.

Quality Engineering

  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
  • Enhance automated testing practices.
  • Maintain high engineering quality standards.

Cloud Engineering

  • Develop applications for cloud platforms.
  • Participate in modernization and migration initiatives.
  • Build resilient and scalable microservices architectures.

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
  • Improve deployment efficiency and operational reliability.
  • Support infrastructure-as-code and automated quality controls.

Collaboration

  • Work within Agile and Extreme Programming teams.
  • Participate in pair programming, code reviews, and design discussions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and product teams.

Production Support

  • Monitor application performance.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues.
  • Support operational excellence initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Experience

  • 2+ years of software development experience.

Technical Skills

  • Java
  • Spring Boot

  • SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
  • Unit testing frameworks
  • CI/CD tools and pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Strong Object-Oriented Design knowledge.
  • Experience with Extreme Programming (XP).
  • Pair Programming or Mob Programming experience.
  • Test-Driven Development expertise.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience using Agile planning tools (Rally/Jira).
  • Understanding of data modelling concepts.
  • Experience designing and building microservices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning.
