The National Office, a key Strategic Enabler in our new model, is comprised of professionals with various areas of focus that collectively provide mission critical services to support Deloitte's overall success. As a Software Engineer III, you will design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions that support business-critical outcomes. You will work across the software development lifecycle, translating functional requirements into scalable technical solutions and driving delivery from planning through implementation. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional and global teams, contribute to high-quality engineering practices, and support the delivery of secure, reliable, and performant applications.
Work you'll do
As a Software Engineer III on the IDT team, you will be responsible for:
- Design, build, and maintain web applications across backend and frontend components.
- Develop and operate APIs and services using Python, including secure authentication and integration patterns.
- Build user-facing features from design specifications using React.js or Angular and TypeScript.
- Implement automated testing, code quality controls, and CI/CD practices to support reliable releases.
- Collaborate with DevOps, product, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions and mentor junior team members.

Location: Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in full stack engineering or backend engineering roles
- Experience developing production APIs using Python with FastAPI or Flask
- Experience building frontend features using React.js or Angular and TypeScript
- Experience using Docker, Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD tools
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases and caching technologies such as Redis
- Experience using AI-enabled development tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field
Preferred:
- Experience with agentic architectures or frameworks such as LangChain
- Experience with prompt engineering, AI workflow orchestration, or autonomous agent design
- Experience with Storybook, Ladle, JFrog, or DevOps toolchains
- Experience integrating artifact repositories and secrets management tools
