Samanvay crafts products and solutions that work under constrained conditions for non-profits, rural areas, urban slums, NGOs, and state governments.

We make technology solutions that are of good quality and sustainable for the social sector. As a part of this we make products that work for multiple organizations or are meant for large scale adoption or both. We mostly engage in long-term partnerships with pioneering and grassroots organizations across India. Making these technology solutions involves - consulting, engineering, solution design, product management, UX design, product implementation, production operation and user support.

Presently, we are working-on/supporting following products:

• Avni - Community service and data collection platform for grassroot organizations - being used by about 50 projects.
• Bahmni - Electronic Medical Record and Hospital Information System used in around 500 hospitals/clinics across the world.
• Gunak - Quality and effectiveness assessment system for public hospitals and health centers, used by the Ministry of health India's thousands of assessors.
• Shwaas - Guides community health workers in assessing people who are experiencing covid and pneumonia symptoms. (COVID specific)

About the role

Avni is a low-code platform hosted by Samanvay for its customers on AWS and on-premise linux based infrastructure. Samanvay has product development and implementation teams that deliver Avni based solutions to these customers.

The core responsibilities for this role are:

• Product Engineering
• Automation of Product Deployment and Operations
• Level 3 production support (for our own products, in office hours only)
• Customer solution design (based on our products)

Tech Stack

• Linux, Git, Android
• React Native, Javascript, ReactJS
• Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, NodeJS
• Cloud based infrastructure services (Amazon Web Services, Digital Ocean, Cloudflare)
• Postgres, Mobile databases(Sqlite, Realm)

Skills

• Java, Spring or Node JS (Must Have)
• JavaScript, SQL Databases (Must Have)
• React or React Native (Preferred)
• Unit testing, Continuous Delivery (Nice to have)

Experience, Compensation, Work location

• 5-10 years of experience in the relevant area
• 17-25 LPA depending on the expertise
• Bangalore based position (non-remote)
