Full Stack Lead

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineering Technical Lead with expertise in Microsoft technologies and frameworks and deep experience of Azure cloud services.

This role blends technical leadership with managerial responsibilities, providing guidance to a team of engineers while driving the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

As the primary interface between your teams and the UK-based Product Owners, Business Analysts and the Senior Software Engineering teams you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. As a leader, you will foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and accurately aligned with business requirements and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define project goals and priorities.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Design and architect full-stack solutions
• Oversee the implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions in Azure cloud environments using the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET Core/.NET 6+, C#, and front-end frameworks like React and Blazor.
• Hands-on development and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Define technical roadmaps and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, risks, and dependencies while ensuring on-time delivery.
• Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any technical or organizational challenges.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years in software development with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Excellent knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and coding best practices:
• Paradigms & Principles (OOP, SOLID, DDD, TDD, BDD)
• Database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL)
• Code testing practices
• Data structures, Architectural and Design Pattern
• React JS and TypeScript and Responsive Web Design
• Extensive commercial experience with:
• .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET (Core, MVC, WebAPI), C#
• RESTful API development
• Integrating with 3rd party systems and API's
• Testing frameworks (e.g. NUnit, XUnit, MSTest)
• ORM (e.g. Entity Framework, Dapper)
• RDBMS (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)
• Messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Azure ServiceBus)
• Version control systems (GIT)
• Cloud computing platforms and distributed applications (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS)
• Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity)
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
