Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer
Location: Chennai (Hybrid- 4 days WFO)
Experience Range: 410+ years (including senior/lead capacity where applicable)
About the Role
We are hiring skilled Full Stack Java Developers to design, develop, and deploy scalable, cloud-native web applications. The role involves hands-on development across front-end and back-end, building microservices, implementing DevOps workflows, optimizing performance, and contributing to architecture decisions. Candidates with senior tenure may guide teams, lead Agile delivery, and drive engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular/React.
- Build microservices-based solutions and secure REST APIs.
- Work on cloud-native deployments using GCP (Terraform, Tekton, CI/CD); AWS acceptable where noted.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical outcomes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, TDD/BDD, code reviews, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot issues, enhance scalability, maintain reliability, and ensure security compliance.
- (Lead Level) Manage sprints, guide developers, drive delivery excellence, and support onboarding.
Core Technical Skills
- Java (8/17/21), Spring Boot, Microservices
- UI: React / Angular
- Cloud:GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Data Fusion, Cloud SQL, Airflow, Terraform, Tekton, CI/CD); AWS optional with relevant experience of minimum 2 years
- Databases: Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL
- DevOps: Jenkins / Tekton / CI-CD, Git, Agile methodology
Preferred Skills / Good to Have
- Python, Node.js, JavaScript frameworks, PWAs
- Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud-native architecture patterns
- Test automation practices; Scrum / Kanban exposure
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and performance-driven engineering
