Job Description
We are looking for an experienced
Full Stack Java Cloud Developer to join our team and take a leading role in the development of
HP PrintOS Composer, a cloud-native solution that powers
digital print production workflows at scale. PrintOS Composer is part of HP's PrintOS ecosystem, enabling automation, flexibility, and efficiency for print providers worldwide by handling
high-volume document composition and processing in the cloud.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications across both frontend and backend, with a strong emphasis on Java-based backend services.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability following best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in distributed cloud-based environments
Frontend Development
- Develop and maintain frontend components using modern frameworks such as React or AngularJS
- Implement responsive user interfaces based on existing design guidelines
- Collaborate closely with backend services by integrating REST APIs
- Develop with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Backend Development
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and implement RESTful APIs used by frontend and external services
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL/MySQL and DynamoDB
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java and solid experience building backend services using Spring / Spring Boot
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and software engineering best practices
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs in distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (such as EC2, S3, RDS, SQS and related services)
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with microservices-based architectures and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of scalability, reliability, and security considerations in cloud-based, multi-tenant SaaS systems
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize distributed cloud applications
- Experience working across frontend and backend components in a full stack environment
- Team player with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
