About the Role

We're looking for a capable and proactive Fullstack Engineer to join our team at Vtalix and contribute across the entire technology stack. While the role is backend-heavy, you'll also get hands-on with modern frontend interfaces.

You'll work on scalable infrastructure, clean service architecture, and secure, user-facing applications—taking ownership from database design to deployment. This is a key engineering role with room for growth into architecture and leadership positions.

Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design and implement RESTful APIs & WebSockets using Node.js, Express, Sequelize, and socket.io

• Manage cache layers using Redis

• Create and maintain relational schemas in MySQL

• Work with Microservice Architectures

• Implement authentication & session management (JWT, refresh tokens)

• Containerize & deploy services using Docker + CI/CD pipelines

• Manage deployments/logging with AWS (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)

Frontend Development

• Build and maintain React components with reusable architecture

• Handle auth flows (login, refresh tokens, protected routes)

• Use TailwindCSS for styling and Redux for state management

• Work with UI libraries like Material UI / Headless UI

• Implement Role-Based Access Controls and responsive UI logic

• Integrate frontend with backend APIs seamlessly

Required Skills

• 3+ years of Fullstack JavaScript (Node.js + React.js) development

• Strong expertise in MySQL, MongoDB, Sequelize ORM, REST APIs

• Deep understanding of auth mechanisms, middleware patterns

• Hands-on with Docker, CI/CD workflows, AWS cloud services

• Strong debugging skills and ability to deliver end-to-end features independently

Bonus Points For

• Experience with multi-service architectures or API gateways

• Knowledge of cloud-native security best practices

• Familiarity with real-time tools (WebRTC, socket.io)

• Interest in Web3 technologies
