Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who can own our product's technical roadmap end-to-end — from system architecture to hands-on development — while leading a small, high-performing engineering team.

You'll collaborate closely with the product and business teams to define priorities, architect scalable solutions, and guide developers to deliver high-quality, production-ready code. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership with deep technical problem-solving in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & System Design: Own design decisions across the stack (frontend, backend, and infrastructure) to ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
2. Technical Roadmap: Partner with product and business stakeholders to plan and prioritize features, technical debt, and releases.
3. Hands-on Development: Contribute directly to core codebases across backend (Node.js, Express.js) and frontend (React).
4. DevOps & Cloud: Oversee deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (Azure).
5. Code Reviews & Standards: Maintain high engineering standards through reviews, documentation, and best practices.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to translate business goals into technical execution.

Technical Skills & Requirements

1. Full Stack Development: Strong expertise in backend and frontend technologies — Node.js, Express.js, React (including reusable components & state management), and SQL databases.
2. Programming Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and basic familiarity with Python.
3. APIs & Integrations: Skilled in designing RESTful APIs, integrations, and automation workflows.
4. Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
5. AI & Automation (Preferred): Familiarity with LLMs, AI automation tools (Playwright, Selenium), or RAG-based systems.
6. Architecture & Security: Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and modular systems.
7. Software Engineering: Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and modern engineering principles.

Leadership & Management Experience

1. Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading a small or lean engineering team (5-8 members).
2. Proven ability to set priorities, plan sprints, and deliver projects in collaboration with product teams.
3. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a bias for action.
4. Experience in startups or fast-paced product environments is a plus.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2-4 years of total experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership or team management role.
