This role anchors practical engineering excellence, bridging backend, frontend, and integration layers with BFSI-specific constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Design & Delivery:
- Deliver comprehensive modules on backend (Java 17, Spring Boot), frontend (Angular/React, TypeScript), and integration patterns.
- Teach API-first design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems aligned to BFSI use cases such as credit risk, payments, and fraud detection.
Enterprise Application Architecture:
- Guide participants in designing secure, scalable applications using OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, and OWASP Top 10 principles.
- Explain resilience engineering with Resilience4j (circuit breaker, bulkhead, retry, timeout) and caching strategies (Redis, Caffeine).
Integration & Cloud Deployment:
- Demonstrate API Gateway patterns, Eureka service discovery, and asynchronous messaging with Kafka.
- Cover containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, with observability via Elasticsearch and log aggregation.
AI Collaboration:
- Work with AI Engineer and Data Architect to integrate AI services safely into applications.
- Teach patterns for consuming AI APIs without violating compliance or introducing instability.
Project Leadership & Mentoring:
- Lead participants in building production-grade microservices with REST/Kafka integration.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce design standards, and mentor on BFSI-specific non-functional requirements (availability, latency, auditability).
Required Experience:
- 12–15+ years in enterprise software engineering.
- Strong expertise in Java (Java 17) and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Angular or React and TypeScript.
- Exposure to BFSI domain with understanding of regulatory and risk constraints.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering large-scale, production-grade systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization, and CI/CD automation.
Core Skills & Competencies:
- Backend-first application architecture and API design.
- Frontend development with Angular/React and enterprise UI principles.
- Resilience and security engineering.
- Performance optimization and observability.
- Mentoring and stakeholder communication.
- BFSI domain awareness and compliance considerations.
Example Deliverables:
- End-to-end BFSI project: Secure microservices with REST APIs, Kafka integration, Angular dashboard, and cloud deployment.
- Technical artefacts: Architecture diagrams, API documentation, CI/CD pipeline scripts, and resilience configurations.
- Training materials: Detailed slide decks, hands-on labs, and compliance checklists.
Preferred Certifications:
- Spring Professional Certification.
- AWS/Azure Architect Certification.
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile credentials.
Reporting & Collaboration:
Reports to Program Director / Exponential Coach. Collaborates closely with AI Engineer, Data Architect, QA Architect, and Business Analyst trainers to ensure cohesive delivery.
