ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior or
Lead Full Stack Engineer, you'll shape a workflow platform relied on by teams in Japan, using your
advanced Japanese skills to guide users and ensure smooth adoption. This role blends hands-on engineering with close stakeholder collaboration, giving you direct influence over product quality and automation capabilities. You'll join a globally distributed, supportive team where your expertise in NodeJS, Python, and workflow automation tools will elevate both platform reliability and user experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide technical support to employees in Japan to ensure successful use of the workflow platform;
- Develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack features using NodeJS and Python;
- Build and customize workflows on top of n8n, ensuring scalability and reliability;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality code;
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure platform stability;
- Contribute to technical decisions, architecture design, and best engineering practices.
MUST HAVES
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development;
- Strong proficiency in NodeJS and Python;
- Experience working with workflow automation tools (n8n or similar) is a strong plus;
- Native or work-level Japanese fluency (written and spoken);
- Ability to work during APAC time zone to support users in Japan;
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a distributed environment;
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders;
- Advanced Japanese;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience supporting end users or internal teams in a technical capacity;
- Prior experience with workflow engines, automation platforms, or low-code tools.
