Full Stack Engineer

The Role:

We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer to own the product layer of an early-stage generative video product end-to-end the user-facing web application, the FastAPI backend that orchestrates the generative agents, the GPU job dispatcher, and the AWS deployment underneath. You will work closely with the ML Engineer to turn generative models into a product

customers actually use, and be the primary owner of the user experience, reliability, and cloud cost.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web application - build the Next.js / React dashboard where users submit generation jobs, review outputs, iterate on prompts, and manage their workspace.

• Internal API - build a FastAPI service through which the generative agents are invoked, authenticated, rate-limited, and logged for downstream analysis and debugging.

• GPU job dispatcher - design the job queue that enqueues GPU workloads, provisions pods, streams results back to the UI, handles failures gracefully, and emits usable metrics.

• Auth, billing, and workspaces - integrate user authentication, workspace management, and billing (Stripe or equivalent) cleanly into the product.

• AWS foundation and CI/CD - stand up ECS, S3, RDS, and CloudFront with a clean account structure, and build an automated build-test-deploy pipeline the whole team uses.

• Data ingestion and storage - contribute to scrapers for YouTube, Instagram, and the Facebook Ad Library (yt-dlp, Playwright, Apify) and the S3 + RDS schema the ML team builds on top of.

• Security and cost - establish IAM least-privilege, secrets management, audit logging, and guardrails on AWS and GPU cloud spend.

Required Skills & Experience:

• TypeScript, React, and Next.js - production experience shipping polished, responsive web applications with modern React patterns.

• Tailwind and modern CSS - comfortable implementing clean, consistent UI from a Figma spec without reaching for heavy UI libraries.

• Python and FastAPI - hands-on experience building async Python services that are well-tested and easy to maintain.

• AWS - production experience with ECS, S3, RDS, and CloudFront, plus working knowledge of IAM and VPC networking.

• Postgres - practical database design, migrations, and query-level debugging for production workloads.

• Docker and GitHub Actions - efficient container images and CI/CD pipelines you have authored end-to-end.

• 6+ years of full stack engineering - with at least 3 years shipping and operating production web applications.

• Product sense - you can make reasonable UX decisions without waiting for a spec, and you care about the end-user experience.

Nice to Have:

• Stripe or equivalent billing integration experience.

• Video streaming, HLS, or large-file upload/download pipelines.

• GPU workload dispatch on RunPod, Modal, Lambda Cloud, or SageMaker.

• Prior experience as an early or founding full stack engineer at a startup.
