An AI technology company based in Bengaluru, founded in Singapore in 2025. It builds AI-powered platforms for independent accounting firms in North America.
The platform acts as a specialized junior accountant within a human-in-the-loop model. It automates routine bookkeeping and administrative workflows, delivering 5x productivity gains without adding headcount.
The company is an eight-person, founder-led team backed by $6M in seed funding. It is on a mission to transform the $150B+ global accounting industry.
Position Overview
This role sits at the core of the company's product engineering effort — building AI agents and automation pipelines that take real, high-stakes accounting work off practitioners plates. You'll work directly with PMs and founders to design and ship production-grade systems where the margin for error is zero, the breadth of work is immense, and the nature of work is dynamic. This is a full-stack ownership role, not a ticket-executor role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and ship AI agents and multi-step automation pipelines that handle real accounting workflows end-to-end in production
- Build and maintain full-stack features across Django/DRF backends and ReactJS frontends, including multi-tenant data models, RBAC, and audit trails
- Architect and own RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents, and structured output flows using LangChain, LangGraph, and OpenAI/Anthropic APIs
- Write tests for the hard parts — AI pipeline logic, document parsing edge cases, and multi-step agent flows — not just happy paths
- Work directly with founders and PMs to pressure-test requirements, challenge technical direction when warranted, and pick up accounting domain context quickly
- Maintain clean API contracts with sensible error handling across internal and client-facing integrations
- Use AI coding tools fluently to move fast while retaining full ownership and explainability of everything that reaches production
Must Have Criteria
- 2+ years shipping production software as a full-stack engineer
- Hands-on production experience with Django/DRF, ReactJS, and PostgreSQL
- Built and operated REST APIs and async task pipelines using Celery + Redis in production
- Delivered AI/LLM features in production using LangChain, LangGraph, or OpenAI/Anthropic APIs — including RAG pipelines and structured outputs
- Built B2B SaaS products with multi-tenant data models, RBAC, and audit trails
- Writes tests covering AI pipeline logic, document parsing edge cases, and multi-step agent flows
Nice to Have
- Prior exposure to tax, accounting, or financial document processing workflows
- Experience with document OCR or tools such as Unstructured.io
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP and Docker-based deployments
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Temporal or Prefect
