About the Role
We are looking for a passionate Full Stack Developer with strong experience in Node.js and React and AWS-based architectures. You'll work on building and scaling both our event-driven backend systems and modern, high-performance frontend applications.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, product-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js with TypeScript.
- Design efficient MongoDB schemas and data models aligned with application workflows.
- Optimize queries, indexes, and aggregation pipelines for high performance.
- Develop event-driven architectures using AWS SQS, Lambda, and ECS.
- Write and optimize cron jobs and scheduled tasks for background processing and automation.
- Implement robust message queue processing systems with retry, dead-letter, and scaling strategies.
- Monitor, debug, and optimize system performance and API reliability.
- Follow best practices in API design, error handling, and logging for distributed systems.
Frontend Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build reusable UI components and implement user-facing features.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
- Ensure responsive design and consistent user experience across devices.
- Optimize application performance for production environments.
- Fix bugs, improve usability, and maintain code quality standards.
- Collaborate with backend, product, and design teams to deliver features end-to-end.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience building production-grade applications using Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in React and modern frontend development practices.
- Proficiency in MongoDB data modeling and schema design for scalable applications.
- Experience with TypeScript in frontend and/or backend applications.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, Promises, and event-driven design.
- Proficiency with AWS ecosystem — especially SQS, ECS, Lambda, S3, and EC2.
- Experience with Docker and container-based deployment pipelines.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Experience implementing scalable background jobs, worker queues, and cron-based tasks.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control workflows.
- Good debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills.
- Understanding of modern frontend build tools (e.g., Vite/Webpack) and package managers.
Bonus Skills
- Exposure to AI models and platforms.
- Knowledge of microservices patterns.
- Understanding of observability tools like PostHog, New Relic, or Datadog.
- Experience with frontend performance monitoring and analytics tools.
