Full Stack Engineer

Job Brief:

PhysicsWallah is looking for a passionate and skilled Full Stack SDE 2 to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building scalable web applications, backend services, and modern frontend systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance products that impact millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications
• Build reusable and efficient APIs, services, and UI components
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality features
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution
• Work on database design, system architecture, and performance optimization
• Ensure best practices in software development, security, and deployment
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering process improvements

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Full Stack Development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, or similar frontend frameworks
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js
• Good understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Understanding of scalable system design principles
