We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of professional experience building and maintaining scalable web applications end-to-end. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software that enhances user experiences and meets business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build reusable, scalable, and efficient code for both frontend and backend systems.
- Develop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and integrate with third-party services.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data validation mechanisms.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and familiarity with TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures.
- Experience with frontend state management (Redux, Context API, or similar).
- Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and modern UI/UX principles.
- Strong database skills (MongoDB, Mongoose, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Experience deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
- Knowledge of Next.js or other server-side rendering frameworks.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
