Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Full Stack Engineer (Next.js) at RR.T. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using Next.js on the front end and modern back-end technologies and APIs. The role includes implementing responsive user interfaces, integrating with databases and external services, and optimizing performance, security, and scalability across the stack. The engineer will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust, production-ready features. Day-to-day responsibilities also include writing clean, testable code, conducting code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.
Qualifications
- Strong front-end development skills, including Next.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Proficiency in back-end web development, including RESTful or GraphQL APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
- Experience in full-stack development and software development practices, including version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD workflows.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and performant web architectures in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with modern build tools, package managers, and deployment pipelines for JavaScript/TypeScript applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience with AI-driven or MarCom platforms is a plus.
