Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Full Stack Lead Engineer (Offshore) who can independently own and deliver end-to-end development projects from offshore. This role is based on IST (India Standard Time) and requires strong collaboration with nearshore (Canada) and onshore (PST) teams.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven, hands-on developer and leader who can take full ownership of requirements, design, development, and delivery with minimal supervision. This role is strictly focused on application development, with a strong emphasis on execution, accountability, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Ownership (Core Responsibility)
- Independently own entire feature delivery or projects from offshore
- Drive requirements understanding, design, development, and deployment
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for offshore execution
- Ensure timely delivery with high quality and minimal oversight
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and solutions
- Full Stack Development
- Frontend, Develop scalable UI applications using: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), JSX, Redux
- Build reusable, performant, and responsive components, Backend Design and develop services using: Java Spring Boot framework
- Build REST APIs and microservices
- Work with MySQL for database design and optimization
- Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka
- Cloud & Deployment
- Develop and deploy applications on Microsoft Azure
- Use Docker for containerization
- Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth releases
- Ensure applications are production-ready, scalable, and secure
- Requirement Analysis & Execution
- Independently understand business requirements and acceptance criteria
- Translate requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
- Work with minimal guidance from nearshore/onshore teams
- Deliver features with speed, ownership, and accountability
- AI-Assisted Development & Productivity
- Leverage AI tools such as: Claude, GitHub Copilot
- Accelerate development through AI-assisted coding, debugging, and optimization
- Demonstrate knowledge of Claude capabilities/skills
- Act as a fast and proactive solution builder
- Collaboration with Global Teams - Work primarily in IST hours
- Collaborate with nearshore (Canada) and onshore (PST) teams
- Provide clear updates, documentation, and status reports
- Ensure smooth handoffs across time zones
- Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in full stack application development
- Strong experience working independently in offshore roles
- Strong frontend expertise in: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), JSX, Redux
- Strong backend expertise in: Java Spring Boot, REST APIs and microservices
- Hands-on experience with: MySQL, Kafka, Microsoft Azure, Docker, Git, Node.js, npm
- Strong understanding of software development best practices
- Proven ability to own and deliver projects independently.

- Experience in retail or e-commerce platforms
- Experience working on global delivery models (offshore + nearshore)
- Strong understanding of scalable and distributed systems
- Experience in agile environments
