We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer Intern who can work independently, think creatively, and help us refine our platform end-to-end.
Role Overview
You will work closely with our Product Manager and founders to upgrade, fix, and enhance the BookMyBuffet platform. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, ownership, and the ability to deliver clean, maintainable code.
This internship offers real-world experience with high-impact featuresand strong performers may receive a full-time job offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and optimise layout and UI/UX across various website modules
- Fix existing features, improve functionality, and build new enhancements
- Work on both frontend and backend using the CodeIgniter (PHP) framework
- Manage APIs, integrations, form structures, and user flows
- Collaborate with PM for weekly sync-ups and provide regular progress updates
- Debug, test, troubleshoot, and ensure stable deployments
- Write clean, secure, and scalable code
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of PHP and CodeIgniter framework
- Solid experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
- Hands-on knowledge of MySQL
- Ability to understand existing codebases and work independently
- Basic understanding of API development & integrations
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to deliver tasks within timelines with minimal supervision
Good to Have
- Experience with responsive UI design
- Knowledge of Git or version control systems
- Exposure to Google APIs, Meta integrations, or payment gateways
- Understanding of SEO basics & website optimization
