Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Backend Engineer who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments. You will be responsible for building and scaling core backend systems that power the platform's intelligence layer.

This is a builder role — ideal for someone who prefers shipping over planning and can take ownership of systems end-to-end without heavy oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy core backend systems for enterprise-ready POC delivery
• Develop and optimize event-driven architectures and data pipelines
• Implement robust APIs and integrations with developer tools and CI workflows
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance in production environments
• Contribute to architectural decisions and system design with strong technical opinions
• Collaborate directly with founders and cross-functional team members
• Rapidly iterate and ship features in a high-impact build sprint

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in backend engineering and system design
• Proven experience building data pipelines or event-driven systems
• Ability to work in early-stage environments with speed and autonomy
• Experience designing clean, scalable systems without overengineering
• Strong ownership mindset and accountability for delivery
• Experience working with Western clients or global teams
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Nice to Have

• Experience in security, developer tooling, or CI/CD ecosystems
• Exposure to AI/LLM-integrated products
• Startup experience, particularly in zero-to-one product builds
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade software environments
