Role: Mid-Level Full Stack Developer (Node.js & React)
Role Overview
We're looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer with solid experience in Node.js and React.js to help build, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications. You'll work closely with senior engineers, product managers, designers, and DevOps to deliver reliable features, improve performance, and contribute to both frontend and backend development.
This role is ideal for an engineer who has hands-on production experience, understands full stack fundamentals, and is ready to take more ownership while continuing to grow technically.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack features using Node.js and React.js with TypeScript.
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces following established design systems.
- Implement and consume REST APIs and WebSockets for data exchange and real-time functionality.
- Assist in building and maintaining backend services and business logic.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to deliver production-ready features.
- Ensure frontend and backend performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code.
- Help troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes across the stack.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployments using AWS services (CloudFront, S3, CI/CD).
- Continuously improve code quality, testing coverage, and application stability.
- Stay current with modern full stack development tools and frameworks.
Requirements
- 35 years of professional full stack development experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Node.js and React.js, with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; basic experience with WebSockets is a plus.
- Familiarity with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API).
- Hands-on experience deploying or working with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, Lambda, or Amplify.
- Understanding of performance optimization, error handling, and debugging techniques.
- Ability to write clean, readable, and testable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn from feedback.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Vite, Node.js frameworks, or backend MVC/service-layer patterns.
- Exposure to AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Cognito.
- Familiarity with UI animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP).
- Experience with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library).
- Basic understanding of SEO, accessibility, and web performance metrics.
- Experience working in agile or fast-paced product environments.
