What You'll Do

Build, ship, and iterate on production-grade web applications across the full stack:

• Design and develop responsive, high-performance UIs using React and Next.js, with a strong eye for component architecture, state management, and user experience.
• Architect and build robust REST and async APIs using Python FastAPI, with attention to performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Own backend design decisions: database modelling, query optimisation, caching strategies, and service boundaries.
• Integrate AI-powered features into enterprise applications — think intelligent search, agent-driven workflows, and LLM-augmented user experiences.
• Write clean, tested, documented code that your teammates can build on.
• Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, and async design discussions — your opinions are expected and valued.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, security issues, and technical debt proactively.
• Collaborate closely with team to ensure seamless integration of platform capabilities into client-facing products.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

• 2–5 years of hands-on, production full stack experience — not just side projects.
• Strong React fundamentals: hooks, context, performance optimisation, and component design patterns.
• Next.js proficiency — SSR, SSG, API routes, middleware, and deployment pipelines.
• Python and FastAPI for building async, scalable backend services.
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, schema design, and query performance.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and understanding of API security best practices (auth, rate limiting, CORS).
• Comfort with Git, CI/CD, and collaborative development workflows (PR reviews, branching strategies).
• Ability to own a feature from requirements to production — no hand-holding required.

Strong Advantage

• Exposure to LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) or AI-augmented application development.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and cloud deployments (AWS or GCP).
• TypeScript fluency.
• Prior work in a fast-paced startup or consulting environment.
