Full Stack Engineer

Bradford Jacobs is currently engaged in a collaboration with one of the largest network hardware vendors globally, and they are actively seeking a full-stack engineer to join their organisation during a phase of expansion.

This presents a significant opportunity for professionals with expertise in software development to contribute to the growth and advancement of a prominent player in the industry.

Requirements:

• Development and operational experience in a cross-technology, cross-functional team setting
• Dev and Ops experience in a full-stack environment from start to end
• Advanced technical knowledge and work experience with Python web framework like Tornado, JQuery, HTML & CSS
• Advanced experience with MySQL, Redis and AWS
• Strong fundamental understanding of secure coding best practices, and must be using them in their day-to-day coding job
• Experience in building and operating production-grade applications

Practical experience with a subset of:

• Requirements gathering, interaction design, and user testing
• Developing and hosting secure web-apps on-prem and in AWS
• Implementing CDN and associated solutions provided by vendors like Cloudflare
• CI/CD using Git, Trello, Jenkins
• Threat-modelling, web-attack vectors, prevention, and mitigation techniques
• Application development and deployment on Docker Containers and Kubernetes
• Characteristics like Role-based Access Control (RBAC), building APIs for inter-application integrations
• Integrating AI-assisted features in applications
