Role overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Fullstack Developer to join our engineering team. This role will lead the investigation, design, implementation, and modernization of complex enterprise features while contributing to customer escalations, bug resolution, and ongoing architectural improvements.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with both legacy enterprise applications and modern web technologies, and enjoys mentoring engineers while driving technical excellence across the development lifecycle.

This position requires close collaboration with Product Owners, QA Automation, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex features and production fixes across the platform.
• Analyze customer-reported issues and identify root causes across application, API, infrastructure, and integration layers.
• Work across both legacy and modern application components during the ongoing modernization effort.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and secure software solutions following engineering best practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to modernization initiatives.
• Review code, mentor developers, and establish development best practices.
• Collaborate with QA Automation teams to improve automated regression coverage and ensure new functionality is testable.

Required skills and qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a technical lead, team lead, or engineering leadership role.

Backend

• 10+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET 8 (or modern .NET versions).
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture.
• SQL Server and database performance optimization.

Frontend

• Strong React experience.
• Experience working with AngularJS legacy applications.
• HTML5
• CSS3
• JavaScript / TypeScript

Legacy Technologies

Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy enterprise systems including:

Adobe ColdFusion (CFML)

Candidates must be comfortable working in environments where legacy business workflows coexist with modern services during incremental modernization. The current platform still contains business logic and workflow components implemented in ColdFusion while newer functionality is being developed with React and .NET.

Cloud and DevOps

• Azure DevOps
• Git
• CI/CD pipelines
• Unit testing
• Debugging production issues
• Logging and monitoring tools

Must have skills:

• 10+ years of Fullstack development experience.
• Strong expertise in C#/.NET and React.
• Experience working with legacy enterprise technologies, preferably ColdFusion.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Experience mentoring developers and making architectural decisions.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have skills:

• Experience modernizing monolithic applications.
• Experience migrating legacy UI frameworks to React.
• Experience with cloud-hosted enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of application security best practices.
• Experience working with highly configurable SaaS products.
• Experience supporting regulated industries or government software.
