About GoKiwi

GoKiwi, a revolutionary credit card platform, has announced the launch of its all-in-one Credit on UPI, solution for customers. Certified by the NPCI, GoKiwi is the first app in India that will help customers experience credit on UPI by issuing Rupay cards in partnership with banks. With this launch, GoKiwi aims to create one of the largest direct-to-consumer (D2C) models in the credit market through its cutting-edge mobile application, which offers users the ability to make payments using either a credit card or bank account directly through their phones in a secure manner.

UPI has become the most inclusive mode of payment in India, with over 30 crore unique users and 5 crore merchants onboarded on the platform. With the launch of GoKiwi app, for the first time in India, users can now leverage the power of a (RuPay) credit card with the convenience and ease of UPI. Our vision is to enable access to credit on UPI for 1 million users over the next 18 months.

Responsibilities:

Own features end-to-end, from requirement to production, on GoKiwi's consumer-facing platform at GoKiwi.in .
Build performant, responsive web interfaces using React that millions of users interact with daily.
Design and ship robust Node.js APIs and backend services that power real-time UPI and credit card experiences.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to take your code all the way to go-live, CI/CD, deployments, and beyond.
Debug as a detective, own production issues, trace root causes, and ship fixes fast.
Write clean, maintainable code and take accountability for the quality of everything you ship.
Contribute to architecture discussions and proactively improve the codebase, not just your ticket.

Requirements:

1-2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development (freshers with strong projects welcome).
Strong fundamentals in both React and Next.js, including components, hooks, state management, and performance optimization.
Working knowledge of Node.js, REST APIs, middleware, async patterns, and database integrations.
Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript, you write readable, typed, maintainable code.
Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and how to design simple schemas.
Basic understanding of deployment workflows, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud basics is a plus.
Strong debugging skills: you don't just Google the error; you understand it.
Bonus: Experience building consumer-facing products or working in fintech/payments domains, with the added advantage of React Native experience.
