Job Description

RRD is currently seeking Full-stack Drupal Developer with strong PHP expertise for our Digital team to join in Chennai

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal websites (custom modules, themes, configuration, and site-building).
  • Implement Drupal theming using Twig, along with responsive UI using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Provide WordPress development and support (custom themes, plugins, hooks, and templates).
  • Write clean, reusable, and maintainable PHP (OOP-based) code following industry standards.
  • Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, CRMs, analytics, and marketing tools.
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability (caching strategies, database optimization, front-end performance).
  • Ensure security best practices (roles/permissions, secure coding, vulnerability fixes).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Participate in Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in web development.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Drupal development (primary requirement).
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Working experience in WordPress development (themes, plugins, hooks).
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Experience with MySQL / MariaDB.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and JSON integrations.
  • Experience with Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket).
  • Familiarity with caching mechanisms (Drupal cache, Redis, Memcached).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job terms:

  • Work location - Teynampet, Chennai
  • Working mode - Onsite only
  • Shifts - any 9 hours between 12 pm to 12am
