Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Frontend development:
- Assist in building a responsive UI using AngularJS and React
- Convert UI/UX designs into functional web pages
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Work with REST APIs and integrate backend services into frontend
- Backend development:
- Support development of backend services using Python (e.g., Flask / FastAPI / Django)
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Implement APIs for frontend consumption
- Handle basic authentication and data validation
- Database management:
- Work with MongoDB (NoSQL) and PostgreSQL (SQL)
- Write basic queries for CRUD operations
- Assist in designing schemas and optimizing queries
- Ensure data integrity and performance
- API integration & testing:
Consume and test APIs using tools like Postman
Debug issues across frontend-backend integration
Assist in writing unit and integration tests
- Collaboration & learning:
- Work closely with senior developers and mentors
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Follow Agile practices (daily standups, sprint tasks)
- Continuously learn new tools and technologies
- Debugging & maintenance:
- Identify and fix bugs in applications
- Assist in improving performance and scalability
- Maintain documentation for features and APIs
- Version control & DevOps basics:
- Use Git for source code management
- Work with repositories and basic branching strategies
- Assist in deployments (CI/CD basics if applicable)
