We are looking for a Web Application Developer with a strong background in web application development and architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience working with open-source software libraries, modern JavaScript frameworks, and agile development processes (Scrum). As part of our team, you will contribute to building scalable and high-performing applications, leveraging your expertise in JavaScript, front-end frameworks, and modern development practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Utilize open-source libraries and frameworks to accelerate development and improve application functionality.
- Work with JavaScript and Angular/React to create dynamic and responsive web applications.
- Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS).
- Integrate Angular front-end with scalable backend architecture.
- Manage databases (MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL) and ensure performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile (Scrum) development environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization efforts.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices to improve application architecture.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in web application development and architecture.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience working with open-source software libraries.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and REST API development.
- Strong understanding of databases and backend integration.
- Experience building full-stack applications with Angular OR React + Node.js from scratch.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Good To Have Skills
- Good to have experience with WebSockets, GraphQL, or microservices.
- Knowledge of JWT/OAuth2 authentication.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of modern UX/UI principles.
