Full-Stack Developer (React/Node/PostgreSQL)

MajestIQ is a small team of operators working at the intersection of e-commerce operations and modern AI. We build internal SaaS tools and automation systems for Amazon sellers, brands, and agencies, with a heavy focus on account health, compliance, and operational reliability. Our work ranges from account health dashboards and policy violation monitoring to internal workflow tools that replace manual spreadsheets and ad hoc scripts. We care about clean architecture, practical solutions, and long-term relationships with both clients and engineers.

Role Description

We're hiring a full-time, remote Full-Stack Developer (React/Node/PostgreSQL) to become the primary engineer on a suite of internal dashboards and web applications.

Your first major project will be a multi-tenant Account Health Dashboard that ingests Amazon Seller Central data (via an external provider), stores it in PostgreSQL, and exposes it through secure APIs and React dashboards. After that, you'll continue building additional monitoring tools, internal operations apps, and automation workflows.

Day-to-day, you will:

Design and implement backend services in Node.js (TypeScript preferred) with clean REST APIs

Model and maintain PostgreSQL schemas for multi-tenant SaaS (clients, accounts, violations, metrics, workflows)

Build ETL-style jobs to ingest JSON/CSV data daily, normalize it, and keep historical records accurate

Develop React components and pages for tables, filters, KPIs, and charts

Implement authentication, role-based authorization, and strict tenant scoping on all queries

Own code quality, basic testing, and deployment hygiene

Collaborate directly with the founder on requirements, tradeoffs, and technical decisions

Qualifications

Must-have:

3+ years of professional experience building production web applications

Strong Node.js experience building REST APIs (TypeScript a plus)

Solid PostgreSQL skills: schema design, joins, indexing, and query optimization

Hands-on experience with React and modern front-end development

Experience building dashboards, admin panels, or internal tools (not just simple CRUD demos)

Understanding of multi-tenant architecture and role-based access control

Experience designing or maintaining simple ETL/data-ingestion pipelines

Good written and spoken English; comfortable working remotely and independently

Nice-to-have:

Experience with Amazon Seller Central or other e-commerce platforms

Familiarity with background jobs, queues, and scheduled tasks (cron, BullMQ, etc.)

Experience with charting libraries (Recharts, Chart.js, etc.)

Experience deploying applications on AWS or similar cloud providers

This is a long-term, full-time role (40 hours/week) with at least 45 hours of overlap with US Eastern time expected most days.
