About the Role
We are hiring a Part-Time Full Stack Developer with 3–5+ years of hands-on experience to support the ongoing development and maintenance of our live platform.
This is not a fresh build role. Our product is already operational, and the selected candidate will be expected to quickly understand the current system, resolve issues, optimize performance, and build new features in a structured and production-ready manner.
We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable across backend and frontend systems, can work independently, and is ready to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the existing platform across backend and frontend
- Build and enhance APIs, dashboards, product pages, and internal workflows
- Collaborate with UI/UX and product teams to implement designs
- Ensure seamless frontend-backend integration
- Debug and resolve issues in development and production environments
- Optimize application speed, performance, and reliability
- Follow clean coding practices and structured development workflows
- Support deployments, releases, and ongoing technical maintenance
Mandatory Skills & Requirements
(Non-negotiable for Shortlisting)
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in full stack development
- Strong proficiency in Laravel / PHP and/or Node.js
- Strong experience with Next.js / React
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
- Hands-on experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience working on live production systems
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Git and version control workflows
- Good understanding of responsive UI and frontend-backend integration
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Immediate joining availability preferred
Good to Have
- Experience with dashboard or data-heavy applications
- Familiarity with Redis or caching systems
- Experience with polling, pagination, WebSockets, or real-time systems
- Basic understanding of cloud/server environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, VPS)
- Experience with deployment workflows and performance tuning
- Exposure to mobile app API support
Work Model
- Part-time role with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week
- 2 days in-office presence mandatory:
- 1 weekday (mutually decided)
- Every Saturday
- Remaining work can be done remotely based on requirements
