Job Description: Full-Stack Developer (Equity-Based) – HiWoxRole Overview
We are looking for a
Full-Stack Developer who can build and scale the
technology backbone of HiWox. This is a
high-ownership, product-driven role focused on developing
innovation-led healthcare systems, where you will work across
research, product, and real-world deployment.
This is not just about coding features — you will be responsible for taking systems from
idea → prototype → scalable product, aligned with HiWox's innovation-first approach.
Equity Structure (Important)
- This is a pure equity-based role (no fixed compensation initially)
- 3–4 rounds of discussions → 1-month NDA-based working cohort → Core team agreement
- Equity finalized post funding & Pvt. Ltd. registration
- 5-year vesting structure
- Fixed compensation begins post funding
- You will be part of a core 25+ member equity team being built
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Product Development (Core Focus)
- Build and manage frontend + backend systems for HiWox products
- Develop platforms for users, healthcare providers, and institutional partners
- Ensure seamless integration across different product modules
- Healthcare Product & Innovation Systems
- Build systems that support healthcare innovations, research outputs, and pilot programs
- Develop tools for data collection, monitoring, and analysis
- Enable workflows for real-world healthcare deployment
- Scalable Architecture & System Design
- Design systems that can scale from pilot stage to multi-institution deployment
- Ensure high standards of performance, security, and reliability
- Build flexible and modular architecture for future innovation layers
- Data & Analytics Integration
- Work with data teams to integrate analytics, dashboards, and reporting systems
- Enable data-driven decision-making through product features
- Support development of intelligent and adaptive systems
- Partner & Ecosystem Integration
- Build APIs and systems to integrate with hospitals, institutions, and third-party platforms
- Ensure interoperability and smooth data flow across systems
- Support ecosystem-level product expansion
- Rapid Prototyping & Iteration
- Build MVPs quickly for new healthcare ideas and innovations
- Iterate based on real-world feedback and pilot learnings
- Adapt to evolving product requirements in a dynamic environment
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with innovation, product, research, and operations teams
- Translate complex healthcare requirements into practical tech solutions
- Contribute to overall product and technology strategy
Who Should Apply
- 2–5 years experience in full-stack development
- Strong proficiency in frontend (React/Next.js or similar) and backend (Node.js, Python, etc.)
- Experience with databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- Understanding of scalable system design and architecture
- Interest in healthcare, innovation, or data-driven systems
- Prior startup or 0→1 product experience is a strong advantage
