Job Description :

PivotRoots, A HAVAS Company is seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer with strong experience in Laravel (PHP) and Node.js to build, maintain, and optimize web applications, APIs, and backend services. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments, integrating third-party services, handling complex backend logic, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
. Develop, maintain, and optimize APIs and backend systems using Laravel (PHP) and Node.js.
. Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
. Write clean, secure, and reusable code following best practices.
. Implement authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, Laravel Sanctum/Passport).

Database & Architecture
. Design and optimize database schemas (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
. Work with ORM frameworks like Eloquent and database query optimization.
. Implement queues, schedulers, caching (Redis, Memcached).

DevOps & Deployment
. Manage deployments on AWS / DigitalOcean / Linux servers.
. Handle CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and server monitoring.
. Debug and resolve performance or scaling issues.

Quality & Collaboration
. Participate in code reviews and sprint planning.
. Troubleshoot complex technical issues.
. Work closely with product, design, and QA teams.

Required Skills
. Strong hands-on experience with Laravel PHP (3-5 years preferred).
. Solid experience with Node.js (Express.js/Nest.js).
. Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL and database architecture.
. Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, third-party integrations.
. Good knowledge of Linux environment (Nginx/Apache).
. Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
. Hands-on with Git, Docker (optional but preferred).

Good to Have
. Experience with microservices architecture.
. Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React/Vue) is a plus.
. Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
. Familiarity with real-time applications using WebSockets.

Qualification
. Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent.
. 3-6 years of professional development experience.

. Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
. Excellent communication and ownership mindset.
