KEMS Forgings is a leading precision forging and machining company serving global Tier-1 automotive, off-highway, industrial, and EV customers. We are now building a next-generation digital manufacturing portalsimilar to Manufactura Linkto streamline RFQ generation, customer collaboration, production visibility, and supplier integration.
We are looking for a high-caliber Full-Stack Developer who can architect, build, and scale this platform end-to-end.
What You Will Build
You will lead development of a hybrid web portal that includes:
Core Modules
- RFQ Management System
- Customer portal for uploading drawings, specs, and requirements
- Automated cycle time & costing logic (forgings + machining)
- Internal approval workflows
- Customer Collaboration Dashboard
- Project timelines, milestones, revisions, communication
- Production & Dispatch Visibility
- Live WIP tracking (data integration from ERP/PLC/MES)
- Supplier/Vendor Module
- Raw material, heat treatment, machining partner integrations
- Document Vault
- PPAP, APQP, quality docs, test reports
- Analytics & Insights
- Build vs buy analysis
- Cost breakdown analytics
- Customer performance metrics
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop the full portal from scratch
- Build scalable, secure, and modular backend services
- Develop a clean, intuitive frontend dashboard for customers & internal teams
- Integrate with ERP systems
- Implement file handling: CAD (STEP/IGES), PDFs, Docs, images
- Build robust costing engines, workflows, and role-based permissions
- Deploy and maintain the platform on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Ensure quality, performance, and security standards are met
- Work closely with management, production, quality, and marketing teams
Required Skills (Must-Have)
Technical
- 410 years of full-stack development experience
- Strong command of Node.js / Python (FastAPI/Django) and React/Next.js
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB etc.)
- Strong UI/UX sense; ability to build clean enterprise dashboards
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, authentication, authorization
- Hands-on experience with cloud deployment: AWS / Azure / GCP
- Experience building workflow systems, SaaS platforms, or ERP-like modules
- Able to work with engineering data formats
- PDFs, images
- CAD (STEP, IGES) a bonus
- Strong version control practices (Git)
Bonus Skills
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or supply chain tech
- Experience integrating IoT/MES/PLC data
- Ability to build costing or simulation engines
- Experience with micro-services & event-driven architecture
