Position Purpose
Result-oriented software engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience. Can work with the team to produce high-quality deliverables within timelines. The candidate should be technically inclined and with a proven working record in Core Java and Oracle database skillset.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Application development/support/enhancements/bug-fixing
- Prepare high-quality test plans and conduct tests at Unit and Functional levels
- Conduct Integration tests as required
- Conduct Regression tests as required
- Reporting progress to the Team Lead/Manager
- Escalation of problems to local Team Lead/Management
- Review work of Junior members
- Manage monthly releases with the team
- Manage the UAT environments with the support team and keep environments up-to-date
- Keep track of L3 support tickets till closure
Contributing Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the project and organization standards are followed during various phases of the software development life-cycle and day-to-day development work.
- Meeting deadlines deliverables. Keeping Team Lead appraised of issues that affect the project and the deliverables of the project
