We started back in 2018 when our founders, Divanshu and Samyak, both fresh out of IIT Madras, chose to skip placements and instead build something that mattered. They envisioned classrooms where students weren't just passive listeners, but active participantsteaching, mentoring, leading, and growing together.
Today, that vision is alive and growing. We've worked with
almost 1 million students across government schools in
six Indian states. Our core program,
Peer Teaching, trains senior students to mentor their juniors in foundational skills like reading and math. But it's about more than academicsit's about building confidence, communication, problem-solving, and agency. Because we believe agency is the key to breaking cycles of inequality and helping young people truly own their futures. Over the
next 5 years we look forward to creating impact for 10 million children across the length and breadth of India!
We work hand-in-hand with state and district governments in places like
Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Karnataka. We've been lucky to be backed by incredible partners like the

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Full-Stack Developer with 2–3 years of experience to build and maintain end-to-end web applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both frontend and backend technologies, with strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle—from requirement gathering to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Frontend Development
- Design and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React
- Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, scalable code
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for performance
2. Backend Development
- Develop robust server-side logic using Python (e.g., Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and services
- Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability
3. Database Management
- Design, implement, and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity
- Handle data migrations and performance tuning
4. Full Software Development Lifecycle
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements
- Participate in system design, architecture, and technical decision-making
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Develop and execute automated tests to ensure code quality
- Manage deployment pipelines and release processes on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
5. Version Control & Collaboration
- Use Git effectively for version control, branching, and code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA engineers
6. Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting
- Analyze and resolve complex performance bottlenecks across the stack
- Debug and fix issues in production and development environments
- Continuously improve application performance and scalability

You should have:
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development
- Strong proficiency in Python and modern frontend frameworks, especially React
- Solid understanding of backend architecture and API design
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Expertise in Git and version control best practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deployment workflows
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage the complete development lifecycle

Compensation: INR Upto 6 LPA CTC (Negotiable based on experience & fit)
