About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications. You will work closely with the development team on real-world projects and contribute to both frontend and backend development.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Version Control: Git, GitHub
- APIs: REST APIs, API integration
- Development: Responsive web development, authentication, database integration and third-party API integration
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and Node.js
- Build reusable and responsive frontend components
- Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Express.js
- Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for data storage and management
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs
- Implement authentication and basic authorization features
- Write clean, maintainable and reusable code
- Debug applications and troubleshoot technical issues
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development
- Create branches, commits and pull requests following the team's workflow
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback
- Test features and fix bugs before deployment
- Learn and follow modern software development practices
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript
- Familiarity with React.js and Next.js
- Understanding of Node.js and Express.js
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and development practices
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Good to Have
- Experience building personal or academic projects
- Understanding of authentication using JWT or sessions
- Familiarity with TypeScript
- Basic understanding of deployment platforms such as Vercel, Render or similar
- Familiarity with Docker and environment variables
- Knowledge of database relationships and SQL queries
