This is a remote, unpaid internship position for a duration of 6 months.

We are seeking a talented Full-stack Developer with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering to join our team and help us create exceptional user experiences.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work closely with our design and development teams to deliver high-quality and efficient software solutions. Candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background and an interest in software development are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using Tailwind CSS.
• Develop back-end applications using Node.js and Express.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to power our web applications.
• Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end.
• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in software development and building high-quality web applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Exposure to engineering software, automation, simulation, or other technical projects.
