Full Stack Developer Intern (Django & React.js)

About The Role

You'll build real web applications end to end, with Django powering the backend and React powering rich, data-driven interfaces. You'll work with experienced engineers on live client projects.

What You'll Do

• Develop, test, and deploy web applications using Django and React.js (Next.js and TypeScript a plus).
• Build responsive, reusable UI components and dashboards that handle real-time or large datasets.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs between the React frontend and the Django backend.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), including schema design and queries.
• Improve application performance through debugging, profiling, and optimization.
• Write clean, tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers in an Agile team using Git and Jira.
• Assist with Docker-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS deployments.
  
  

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Django (Django REST Framework preferred) and React.js through internships or projects.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful API design.
• Experience building at least one full-stack project with a database and a deployed or demo-ready version.
• Comfortable with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  

Nice to Have

• TypeScript, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Redux Toolkit.
• SQL and database design experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Docker and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to AWS.
• A dashboard or data-visualization project.
• Projects that integrate AI/LLM APIs.
• Prior internship experience, a GitHub profile with deployed projects, or hackathon participation.
