Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Full-Stack Developer Intern. The intern will collaborate with the development team to build and maintain web applications, working across both front-end and back-end components. Day-to-day tasks include implementing user interfaces, writing and testing server-side logic, integrating APIs, and ensuring responsive, accessible design. The role also involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, documenting features, and contributing to community-facing tools that support Cambedor's events and programs. The intern will be encouraged to learn new technologies, share knowledge with peers, and actively engage with the broader Cambedor community.
Qualifications
- Front-End Development skills, including experience with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
- Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills, with familiarity in at least one server-side language or framework.
- Interest or experience in Full-Stack Development, integrating front-end and back-end systems into cohesive applications.
- Basic understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team.
- Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Prior project experience (personal, academic, or open source) demonstrating practical coding and debugging skills is a plus.
