Full Stack Developer Intern

This is a remote position.

Contribute to the robust web infrastructure powering AXL Labs. You will work on both front-end user interfaces and backend server logic, helping to scale the architecture for our business dashboards and advanced AI voice generation tools. You will be instrumental in building the backbone of secure, high-traffic web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable frontend interfaces using modern React or Next.js.

• Build, test, and document secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express.

• Design efficient database schemas, write optimized queries, and manage data migrations.

• Implement user authentication and authorization protocols (JWT, OAuth).

• Collaborate with the UI/UX team to ensure technical feasibility of designs and optimize application speed and scalability.

• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and component-based frontend architecture.

• Backend experience building server-side logic, routing, and middleware using Node.js.

• Practical knowledge of database design, indexing, and management (SQL or MongoDB).

• Understanding of global state management (Redux, Zustand, or Context API).

• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows (Pull Requests, Code Reviews).

Bonus / Good-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with modern ORMs (Prisma, Mongoose, TypeORM).

• Understanding of WebSockets (Socket.io) for real-time, bi-directional communication.

• Basic knowledge of automated testing (Jest, Cypress) and caching mechanisms (Redis).

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud deployments (AWS EC2, Vercel, Heroku).

• Intensive 3-month unpaid learning and mentorship period.

• Performance-based stipend of 5,000 to 20,000 per month during months 3 to 6.

• Opportunity to be absorbed as a permanent, full-time employee after 6 months.
