BMC Helix is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team and help build modern, cloud-native applications that power our industry-leading Helix platform.In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications while working closely with product managers, architects, UX designers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who enjoys working across the full technology stack and has a passion for cloud technologies and AI-driven innovation.
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to Helix's and your own success:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain modern full-stack web applications.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular (preferred) or React.
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
- Participate in software design discussions, architecture reviews, and technical planning.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Explore and integrate AI capabilities to enhance product functionality and user experience.
- Work closely with global cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise software.
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js (NestJS or Express.js preferred).
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of authentication and authorization technologies, including JWT, OAuth, and SSO.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including containerized application deployment.
- Familiarity with Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, and cloud-native development principles.
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and enterprise software development practices.
- Basic understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-powered application development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of observability, logging, and monitoring tools.
- Exposure to AI agents, Prompt Engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, or MCP.
- Experience building AI-powered applications or intelligent assistants.
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers.
- Understanding of enterprise security best practices.
- Experience working in a SaaS or enterprise product development environment.
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
- Experience working in Agile teams with globally distributed stakeholders.

At HELIX we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,737,400 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The salary listed is just one component of HELIX's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
