Introduction
In the role of Storage Software Developer, you would be responsible for Designing and development of components and features independently in IBM India Systems Development Lab. ISDL works on end to end design and development across Power, z and Storage portfolio. You would be a part of WW Storage development organization and would be involved in designing , developing and discussing product delivery & strategy. You should also have leadership quality to manage and work as technical leads and be able to deliver end to end features.

- Develop IBM Cloud based SaaS application.
- Design and be an avid coder who can get his hands dirty and be involved in the coding to the deepest level.
- Work in an Agile environment of continuous deliverable.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
- 3-5 Years of relevant Industry Experience
- Understanding and experience with Cloud Technologies, Microservices Architecture and container technologies.
- Understanding and experience with Full Stack Development
- Understanding and experience with DevOps, Agile, and Design/Implementation within CI/CD and Secure Software Engineering Best Practices
- Understanding and experience writing and executing Unit and Integration Tests as part of Test Driven DevOps Development
- Understanding and experience with RESTful APIs, Ansible, Java, Kafka & GitHub.
- Software engineering experience designing Enterprise Cloud Applications with React, JavaScript, Typescript, JSP, NodeJS, HTML, CSS , Python etc.,
- Strong experience integrating with no sql databases like cassandara.
- Experience working with open-source technologies.
- Experience implementing distributed applications in a container environment (Docker/Kubernetes) along with experience configuring and administrating Linux (or other Unix-like) systems
- Understanding of Networking concepts and experience in Network development.
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards & requirements
