Job Title: Backend Developer (45+ Years Experience)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer who can design robust APIs, architect scalable databases, and manage server-side logic for high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, Laravel, MongoDB, and MySQL, along with solid experience in server setup, cloud platforms, and Linux systems.
Key Responsibilities
API & Backend Development
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs with high reliability and scalability.
Develop server-side logic using Node.js and Laravel.
Implement authentication, authorization, data flow, and business logic efficiently.
Database Architecture
Design and optimize database schemas for MongoDB and MySQL.
Implement indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
Manage migrations, backups, and database versioning.
Server & Cloud Infrastructure
Configure and manage Linux servers, deployments, and monitoring tools.
Handle server setup, domain configurations, and SSL certifications.
Optimize cloud hosting environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Performance, Security & Stability
Implement best practices for server security, API security, and data protection.
Monitor performance, handle load balancing, caching, and ensure minimal downtime.
Troubleshoot and debug backend issues across environments.
Integration & Collaboration
Work closely with frontend/mobile teams to deliver smooth end-to-end integrations.
Maintain clear, organized API documentation (Swagger/Postman).
Collaborate in agile sprints with product, dev, and QA teams.
Testing & Deployment
Write unit tests, integration tests, and ensure strong code quality.
Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews.
Manage builds, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment workflows.
Required Skills
Core Backend Expertise
Strong proficiency in Node.js and/or Laravel (PHP).
Hands-on experience with MongoDB and MySQL.
Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and API architecture.
Infrastructure & DevOps
Experience with Linux administration and command-line tools.
Knowledge of DNS, networking, SSL/TLS, and web hosting fundamentals.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS / GCP / Azure).
Tools & Best Practices
Proficiency in Git, Git branching strategies, and code reviews.
Experience in debugging, optimizing, and scaling backend systems.
Understanding of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached).
Preferred Skills
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSocket/real-time services.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Experience with CMS backend integrations.
