This is an AI-First Role

Aeon provides every engineer a monthly AI token budget (Claude, Copilot, or equivalent). Using it is not optional. We expect you to demonstrate measurable gains from AI, whether that is faster delivery, higher code quality, fewer bugs, or better architectural decisions. You will be asked to show your work.

• Core backend services and APIs in Golang that handle real-world scale, not demo load
• React JS frontends that hiring teams and HR leaders use every day
• Microservices that integrate with AI/ML pipelines powering candidate matching and ranking
• CI/CD workflows and infrastructure tooling that keeps deployments reliable and fast
• New features from spec to production, with full ownership of quality and performance

What We Look For

• 7+ years of full stack development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on Golang for production backend systems
• Strong React JS fundamentals, not just framework familiarity
• Clear thinking on system design, scalability, and API architecture
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB in real production workloads
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Comfort with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, ideally something you have shipped through, not just configured
• A track record of using AI tools to move faster and produce better work
