Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad and is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of clients or end-users. They work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance professionals, developing real-time features and maintaining a monorepo architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development: Write, test, and maintain code to build software applications and systems using modern technologies. Projects typically involve React (for web and mobile), Node.js and MySQL/PostgreSQL (for databases).

Frontend:

• Strong proficiency in React with TypeScript
• Experience with Vite for fast builds and development
• Solid understanding of TailwindCSS for styling and responsive design
• Ability to build custom, reusable UI components
• State management with Redux
• Design: Collaborate with product managers and designers to create software designs and architectures that meet project goals, user requirements, and scalability needs.

Backend:

• Proficient in Node.js with TypeScript
• Experience building serverless applications with Cloudflare Workers
• Familiarity with itty-router or similar routing libraries

Database:

• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with PlanetScale or similar database platforms

Real-Time Features:

• Experience implementing WebSocket-based real-time communication and updates

Build Tools & Workflow:

• Experience with Turborepo for monorepo management
• Proficiency with Yarn package manager

Expected Technical Expertise:

• DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience
• Performance optimization and tuning expertise
• Strong knowledge of security best practices
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain full-stack features across our monorepo
• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces with React and TailwindCSS
• Implement real-time functionality using WebSockets
• Write clean, type-safe code in TypeScript
• Collaborate with the team on architecture and technical decisions
• Optimize application performance and user experience

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

- Proficiency in programming languages/Libraries such as: PHP, NodeJS, ReactJS, ReactNative, JavaScript, etc.

- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Experience with software development tools, frameworks, and libraries.

- Familiarity with software development best practices, such as code reviews and testing.

Optional Qualifications:

- Experience with specific technologies or domains (e.g., web development, mobile app development, data engineering, etc.).

- Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies.

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
