What You Will Own:
1. Backend Architecture & Logic Systems
- Design and evolve application logic
- Build and optimize APIs
- Drive system architecture decisions
- Own database schema design & evolution
2. Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
- Manage AWS stack (EC2, S3, Auto Scaling)
- Build and improve deployment pipelines
- Drive infrastructure security & hardening
- Continuously optimize cloud costs
3. Performance & Scalability
- Monitor and improve system performance
- Optimize data queries and load handling
- Implement failure recovery systems
- Build for scale before it breaks
4. System Thinking → Full-Stack Awareness (Growth Track)
- Understand API → frontend interactions
- Contribute to data flow impacting dashboards
- Develop end-to-end system perspective
Experience Required:- Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in backend development or related roles
- Prior experience working in a startup or high-ownership environment is mandatory
- Exposure to building or maintaining production-grade systems
- Experience working on live products with real users and real constraints
- Demonstrated ability to handle responsibility beyond assigned tasks
Technical Skills:- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, React.js & TypeScript for scalable backend development
- Experience with Express.js (or similar frameworks) to build robust backend systems
- Strong understanding of REST API design, architecture, & authentication mechanisms (JWT, etc.)
- Ability to design, build, and optimize backend logic, APIs, and system workflows
- Solid experience with MySQL / SQL, along with understanding of database design principles
- Exposure to MongoDB (NoSQL) and Redis (caching & performance optimization)
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or data-related workflows
- Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems thinking
- Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) & cloud-based system management
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar)
- Understanding of performance optimization, query tuning & system debugging
- Working knowledge of Linux-based systems and server environments
- Basic understanding of system security, data protection, and API safety practices
- Exposure to real-time systems (Socket.io or similar technologies)
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest or similar) and structured development practices
- Understanding of MVC architecture and clean code design patterns
- Exposure to AI/LLM API integrations (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Strong proficiency in frontend and backend development
- Hands on experience working with React Native, JavaScript, MongoDB, Python, SQL
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Deep understanding of core principles and architecture.
- Ability to transform complex layouts into pixel-perfect.
- Debugging and problem-solving skills.
