About the role
We're hiring a Full Stack Developer to join an embedded engineering team at Tetrifox. This role is ideal for engineers who can own features end-to-end, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and continue growing through mentorship, pairing, and code reviews.
In this role, you'll work as a core member of a client's product organisation, building features that real users rely on. You'll partner with Product Owners, Technical Leads, QA engineers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software in a globally distributed team.
Requirements
- 4–10 years of professional software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in one or more of C#, Java, Python, ReactJS or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Solid understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Working knowledge of version control (Git), IDEs, and issue tracking systems
- Experience shipping features in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated with genuine curiosity and a drive to keep learning
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software features across the stack
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, QA engineers, and peers to translate requirements into working software
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and test it thoroughly before release
- Participate actively in code reviews and share constructive feedback
- Identify and resolve software defects, investigate root causes, and implement reliable fixes
- Contribute to sprint planning and technical discussions
- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Help improve development processes and workflows to boost team velocity and code quality
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Understanding of SOLID principles and common design patterns
- Experience developing cloud-based applications
- Proficiency with unit testing frameworks
- Familiarity with React or similar frontend frameworks
- Interest in emerging trends such as generative AI
