Full-Cycle HR & Recruitment SpecialistRemote | Part-Time | Philippines or India

CFOAF is hiring an experienced Full-Cycle HR & Recruitment Specialist to own recruiting, candidate screening, first interviews, onboarding support, and HR process coordination for our remote tax, accounting, advisory, and operations team.

This is not a passive recruiting or basic HR admin role. We are looking for someone who can fully own the hiring process, manage themselves, think critically, move quickly, follow through consistently, and help us find strong candidates without needing constant direction.

We are hiring for two part-time roles:

● One recruiter based in the Philippines

● One recruiter based in India

About the Role

The person in this role will manage the recruiting process from job post through first interview and hiring support. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates, screening applicants, conducting first interviews, organizing candidate notes, making recommendations, coordinating next steps, supporting onboarding, and assisting with performance review planning.

We need someone who is organized, resourceful, creative, assertive, analytical, and highly dependable. You should be comfortable evaluating candidate quality, identifying hiring gaps, recommending role or pay adjustments, and suggesting better platforms or sourcing strategies when current methods are not producing the right candidates.

Experience recruiting for a tax, accounting, CPA, bookkeeping, or advisory firm is strongly preferred.

A degree is helpful but not required. We care far more about experience, judgment, follow-through, and results.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through first interview and hiring support

● Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook groups, referrals, job boards, direct outreach, and other creative channels

● Write, post, refresh, and improve job ads as needed

● Screen all applicants for experience, communication skills, availability, compensation expectations, technical fit, and role fit

● Conduct all first interviews with qualified candidates

● Prepare clear candidate summaries and recommendations for leadership

● Identify strong candidates quickly and move them through the process without unnecessary delays

● Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, hiring steps, and candidate communication

● Maintain organized candidate tracking, recruiting notes, and pipeline visibility

● Follow up with candidates consistently and professionally

● Support new hire onboarding, including documentation, onboarding steps, communication, and transition into the team

● Assist with performance review planning, including timelines, reminders, documentation support, and process coordination

● Help improve hiring workflows, screening questions, interview scorecards, onboarding processes, and candidate evaluation standards

● Communicate clearly with leadership regarding candidate quality, pipeline status, hiring blockers, compensation concerns, and recommendations

● Proactively recommend hiring adjustments, including role variations, pay ranges, job title changes, job board strategy, sourcing channels, or candidate profile changes

● Research and recommend new hiring platforms or sourcing methods for the Philippines, India, and remote professional talent

● Identify better ways to attract strong candidates in the Philippines or India

● Own the recruiting and HR support process without needing constant reminders or step-by-step management

Required Experience

● Proven recruiting or HR experience

● Experience managing candidate pipelines

● Experience screening candidates and conducting first interviews

● Experience coordinating hiring steps and candidate communication

● Strong written and verbal English communication skills

● Strong judgment and ability to evaluate candidate quality

● Strong analytical skills and ability to identify hiring trends, gaps, and bottlenecks

● Excellent follow-through and ownership

● Ability to work independently in a remote environment

● Ability to work 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Arizona time

● Comfort using tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Google Sheets, Slack, email, video interviews, and applicant tracking systems or recruiting trackers

Preferred Experience

● Experience recruiting for tax, accounting, CPA, bookkeeping, or advisory firms

● Experience recruiting remote talent in the Philippines or India

● Experience hiring accountants, tax preparers, bookkeepers, admins, operations support, executive assistants, client service roles, or workflow specialists

● Experience with international recruiting

● Experience building or improving recruiting processes

● Experience supporting new hire onboarding

● Experience assisting with performance review planning or HR process coordination

● Management experience is preferred but not required

Please note: this role does not currently manage a team. However, we strongly prefer someone with management-level judgment because this person must be able to fully own the recruiting, onboarding, and HR support processes without waiting for constant direction.

● Performance review planning is supported and kept on track

● The recruiting and HR process moves without constant reminders

● CFOAF is able to find better talent faster
