Job Description

1. End-to-End Fulfilment Operations

  • Oversee all warehouse operations including inbound receiving, storage, inventory control, and outbound dispatch across all STYLI fulfilment nodes.
  • Manage multiple fulfilment centres and 3PL partner sites, ensuring standardized processes and operational consistency.
  • Drive seamless order processing, pick-pack-ship execution, and same-day/next-day fulfilment targets.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and operational playbooks to sustain scalability during peak seasons.

2. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team across multiple locations, including shift supervisors, floor leads, and support staff.
  • Define clear KPIs, conduct structured performance reviews, and cultivate a results-driven, safety-first culture.
  • Own workforce planning, staffing, and training programs to ensure operational readiness at all times.
  • Foster team engagement, reduce attrition, and build internal leadership pipelines.

3. Inbound & Outbound Operations

  • Optimize inbound logistics covering vendor shipments, GRN processing, quality checks, and put-away efficiency.
  • Drive outbound performance including dispatch adherence, carrier handoff accuracy, and real-time tracking.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in turnaround time (TAT) and throughput across all operational stages.

4. Inventory Management

  • Maintain inventory accuracy at 99%+ across all warehouses through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and variance analysis.
  • Design and enforce shrinkage control frameworks and damage prevention protocols.
  • Collaborate with Category and Planning teams to optimize stock allocation, replenishment, and returns processing.

5. Vendor & 3PL Management

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and logistics vendors.
  • Negotiate SLAs, commercial terms, and escalation frameworks with all external partners.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews using scorecards and enforce accountability mechanisms.

6. Budgeting & P&L Ownership

  • Develop and manage annual operational budgets covering warehousing, logistics, and manpower costs.
  • Own cost-per-order and cost-per-unit-shipped metrics, identifying opportunities for margin improvement.
  • Report budget performance vs. actuals to senior leadership with variance explanations and corrective plans.

7. SLA & KPI Management

  • Define, track, and own all operational KPIs including OTIF, TAT, fill rate, and order accuracy across all nodes.
  • Present weekly and monthly performance dashboards to senior leadership with actionable insights.
  • Proactively identify risks to SLA compliance and drive mitigation before escalation.

8. Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary operations interface for internal teams including Category, Finance, Technology, and Customer Experience.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on fulfilment capacity, peak planning, and product launch readiness.
  • Manage escalations swiftly and ensure minimal disruption to customer-facing operations.

9. Freight & Logistics Coordination

  • Oversee domestic and international freight operations ensuring compliance with documentation, customs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Optimize freight lanes, carrier selection, and transit timelines to balance cost and service level.
  • Monitor carrier performance and drive continuous improvement in last-mile delivery reliability.

10. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies.
  • Lead automation and technology adoption projects including WMS upgrades, robotics evaluation, and process digitization.
  • Partner with the Technology team to enhance operational visibility through real-time dashboards and analytics.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce or omnichannel retail supply chain and warehouse operations.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-site fulfilment networks and 3PL relationships at scale.
  • Hands-on proficiency with WMS, ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred), and BI/analytics tools.
  • Proven track record of leading large, multi-layered operations teams across geographies.
  • Experience managing P&L and operational budgets of significant scale.
