Global Platform Solutions (GPS) Delivery supports and maintains pension administration services for a wide range of clients. The nature of the service provided includes full support to pension scheme members at all stages of the administration life cycle through to specialist support to trustees and members for specific task delivery.
The Fund Data Management team manages the core fund data across a wide range of fund types and systems. This includes the addition of new funds to the platforms, as well as the maintenance of existing Fidelity and third party funds.
This role will include:
. Onboarding of Fidelity funds by liasing with product change , product delivery and internal teams.
. Management of all fund data held on the system.
. End to end execution and management of all allocated tasks.
. Communication, management and implementation of corporate actions, mainly name changes,objective changes ,settlement period , charge changes as advised by areas of the business.
. Coordination of client mailings.
. Coordinate the addition and amendment of core fund data for Fidelity products.
. Provide accurate data as required to other areas both on a scheduled and ad hoc basis.
. Provide support to operational areas, Systems, teams and the business .
. Review of core fund data to ensure its integrity.
. Identification and escalation of potential issues to the appropriate business groups.
. Pro-active in highlighting process improvements and support their implementation.
. Supporting projects for fund changes and onboarding .
. Able to perform data quality checks on regular basis.
. Strong team player but also able to work independently without close supervision.
. Self-motivated with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
. Analytical - ability to interpret and implement instructions .
. High level of accuracy and a logical approach to review/control.
. Flexible - May require work out of business hours/weekends.
. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
. Excellent relationship building skills.
. Good communication skills - both verbal and written.
. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
. To be able to prioritise and organise effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
. Demonstrates a high level of commitment to improving customer service / processes internally.
. Should excel in MS Word, Excel and Power Point. Macros will be an added advantage.
. A flexible approach with an ability to work with other departments in the organisation.
. Ability to remain highly motivated and focused towards the key measurements.
